You know you want a Kelly Moore Bag, when…

Real Mom Reviews is having a giveaway for a Kelly Moore Bag…I’ve been eyeing these bags, as you know for quite some time and am entering any giveaway I find for them. They are a wee out of my price range and I just know I’ll get my chance to own one of these amazing bags this way!!! I’m hoping, fingers crossed!!!

Pictured above is the Kelly Moore Classic Bag. Not sure if I’d choose fuschia but they come in a slew of color variations, it’s hard to decide. In the giveaway the Juju bag is not available which is the largest bag Kelly Moore offers. The classic (above) is about the next size down in women’s. There’s also a boy bag, a messenger style bag that is appealing as well. My preference although it may be to small for my needs is the B-Hobo bag in Mustard….You can enter the giveaway as well….here!

Wish me luck!!!

Boardwalk…

I love this Wine bottle. It has sat forever it seems, in front of this boat that is in disarray and is being s-l-o-w-l-y worked on. At low tide under he boat you can find rusted old nails and other metal parts that seem to echo of another time. Some artifacts are older than others but one can always find something that’s beguiling from the sea.

In this vacation town, especially this time of year. These little snippets and treasures are often overlooked and dismissed by passer-bys. I’m near this building and boat very often. I get to see the view at just about every hour of the day, what treasures the tide brings in, and if there is anyone else walking along who takes notice of these happy little places in the world.

Through the Viewfinder

I love TTV (through the viewfinder technique.) Unfortunatly, I haven’t able to experiment fully with it yet, but hope to once I’ve completed creating my “contraption”.

You can view lots of samples of  TTV on Flickr. I inherited millions of old photos from my father and going through them all is very nostalgic and some images are timeless while others pull me in with all the scratches and warping of an old camera. Using TTV it will be incredible to have that same feeling with current day images and memories. I’m so looking forward to some new picture taking with this method, very exciting!

Under the Motif, Rockport

Had a beautiful morning wandering Bearskin Neck in Rockport with my little girl and an old friend. We ventured to Helmut’s Strudel and indulged a little while enjoying the views from their deck. Following summer is BLISS!

Documenting the Hammond B3′s

Working on an independant documentary about a local jazz band (Fats Hammond) with dueling Hammond B3 Organs. The Allman Brothers come to mind instantlt when I think of the Hammond B3 organ, it’s a very original sound. If you’ve never heard a B3 play, it’s a great sound!

Another Sunset Cruise

We’ve been spending our summer days cooling off and evenings scouting and stopping at locations in our hometown. It’s so beautifule to see it in a different perspective from the water. Years ago my husband and were kayakers and we’d paddle everywhere…our boats are older and the gear is too, it gets used but not quite like it use to, so to be able to quickly get out and put around on this lil ol skiff is all good. It’s a bit rough and bumpy at times but the destinations are exquisite. May all your bumpy rides end happy!

Hi Ya!
